Rask Veliant, a truly handsome boy with an incredible story of resilience and recovery. Rask was abandoned on the side of a road in a carrier, frightened and barely weighing 5 pounds, despite being nearly 2 years old. Since then, he’s made amazing strides — doubling his weight, regaining his health, and learning that people can be kind and loving. Despite everything he’s been through, Rask has remained incredibly sweet and affectionate. He loves other cats, especially his best friend, Bop It. 

Bop It and Rask met at the shelter, then were separate for a bit which is when Rask got adopted. No one knew how close the boys became - and they lost each other. However, as fate would have it - they both wound back up together by chance, and it was an IMMEDIATE REACTION OF LOVE. They played the entire night, hardly sleeping... and Rask could hardly wait to get out of his carrier when he laid eyes on Bop It again. That is when it was obvious these two need to be pals for life. They probably thought they would never see one another again. Pure Joy! We won't let them be separated again... their Romeo & Juliet bromance is too powerful.
